It is our mission to give hope to the destitute by restoring families and dignity, and by ending cycles of poverty, addiction, abuse, and violence.  Our approach is holistic and hence addresses body, mind, and spirit in order to meet the needs of the whole person and whole family through our various programs.

Our aims are to promote justice, mercy, accountability, restoration, and hope.

The Hillsong Africa Foundation was created in 2009 to meet the needs of the extended Western Cape community.

The foundation was born out of the charity arm of Hillsong Church in Cape Town, which started with a group of volunteers who wanted to make a difference for good in their local community.  Over time, the extensive community needs far outweighed the funding capacity of the church, and the programs grew from a few to many.

As the Hillsong Africa Foundation grows it becomes clearer and clearer that the challenges we face are complex, and that ending cycles of poverty, addiction, abuse, and violence will require a holistic approach to the many needs in a family.  By offering a wide range of programs we are able to address each area of need within a person or family so they can take the steps towards a brighter, more hopeful future.

Our financials will be posted online soon.  In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to ask us to send them and we will be happy to provide you or your organization with any financial information you may need.
